Meg’s Grits!

- 4 cups Water
- 1 cup Uncooked old-fashioned grits
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
- 2 Large eggs (lightly beaten)
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp Smoked paprika
- Grated parmesan
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Slowly stir in grits and salt. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until thickened, 5-7 minutes. Cool slightly. Gradually whisk in cream, butter and eggs. Stir in cheese, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika and and cayenne
Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with grated parmesan. Bake, uncovered, until bubbly, 30-35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
